Role Overview:

The Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries to our valued customers. The role primarily involves driving to various locations to deliver fresh produce but will also include unloading deliveries, maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse, and assisting with general duties as needed. As a family business, we place a strong emphasis on teamwork, punctuality, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliveries: Transport fresh fruit and vegetables to customers within the Sunshine Coast area. Ensure all deliveries must be on time and as per customer requirements.
• Warehouse Duties: Unload market deliveries, organize produce in the warehouse, and keep the space clean and orderly.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, ensuring that customers are satisfied with their orders.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the delivery vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and in good working condition.
• Flexibility: Assist with other ad-hoc tasks as required, particularly during peak periods such as the Christmas season.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Driver’s License: A clean manual driver’s license is essential for this role.
• Reliable and Efficient: You must be reliable, efficient, and able to manage your time effectively to complete deliveries within the given timeframe.
• Attention to Detail: You should possess strong attention to detail, ensuring orders are delivered accurately and on time.
• Communication Skills: Good communication skills are essential for coordinating with both customers and team members.
• Physical Fitness: The role involves manual handling and lifting, so being physically fit and capable of lifting up to 25-30 kg is a must.
• Team Player: We are looking for someone who is adaptable and willing to assist in a variety of roles when required.

Shift Details:

• Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday
• Shift Time: Starting at 5:00 AM, with shifts lasting between 5 to 7.5 hours, depending on the number of deliveries.
• Peak Period Availability: Increased availability during the Christmas period is ideal for this role.
