Job Description

Siegbert Steel Inc. is looking for experienced welders to join our team at our Calgary location. The role requires expertise in interpreting welding specifications, operating both manual and automated equipment, and performing maintenance on welding machinery.

Responsibilities

Interpret welding process specifications and read blueprints.
Operate manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated welding equipment.
Utilize flame-cutting equipment, brakes, shears, and other metal shaping machinery.
Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal structures.
Assess materials for weldability.
Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.

Qualifications

Education: Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
Experience: 3-5 years in a welding role.
Certification: Welder Trade Red Seal Certificate is preferred.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and physical endurance.
