What Will You Be Doing?
As a Warehouse Picker/Packer, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and the timely delivery of goods. Your daily tasks will include:
Order Picking & Packing/ Warehouse Packer in Melbourne
- Carefully pick and pack customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure that products are securely packed and labeled correctly for shipment.
- Utilize RF scanning technology to track and process orders in the warehouse system.
- Work in a fast-paced environment to meet daily order fulfillment targets.
Warehouse Maintenance & Organization:
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Follow warehouse procedures to optimize storage and inventory management.
- Assist in loading and unloading stock as required.
Team Collaboration / Warehouse Packer in Melbourne
- Work closely with your team to achieve warehouse objectives.
- Support and assist colleagues to ensure seamless operations.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow team members.
Forklift Operation (If Applicable):
- Operate forklifts, including LF counterbalance and high reach, to move and store goods.
- Follow safety protocols and warehouse guidelines to ensure accident-free operations.
- Assist with stock replenishment and inventory organization.
What Are We Looking For?
We are seeking reliable, hardworking individuals who thrive in a team-oriented environment and can handle the fast-paced nature of warehouse operations. Ideal candidates should have:
Experience & Skills:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, or similar environment.
- Forklift operation experience is highly desirable (LF and LO operators preferred).
- Familiarity with RF scanners and computerized inventory systems is a plus.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Essential Criteria:
- Availability to work full-time Monday-Friday, with optional weekend shifts based on workload.
- Ability to meet and exceed daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Reliability and punctuality—show up on time, ready to work!
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including steel cap boots is required.
- A valid police check or willingness to obtain one.
Shifts & Pay Rates:
We offer competitive pay rates based on the shift you work:
- Day Shifts: $31.23/hr
- Afternoon Shifts: $34.97/hr
- Forklift Operator Rates: Higher than standard warehouse pick/pack rates (exact pay to be discussed upon application).
