About the Role: As a Warehouse Assistant, you will support our operations team by ensuring inventory is processed, organized, and stored efficiently. Your role will involve picking and packing orders, scanning deliveries, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring warehouse safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Move inventory and materials across the warehouse.
- Process and prepare medical kits and other critical inventory for delivery.
- Sort, organize, and store inventory in designated locations.
- Correctly package and label items for transport.
- Scan delivered items and adhere to quality control processes.
- Report any damaged or missing inventory to supervisors.
- Stack and organize large bulk items safely.
- Maintain accurate records and update inventory systems.
- Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized.
- Operate heavy machinery, such as a walkie stacker, as required.
- Follow workplace safety policies and wear required safety equipment.
Skills and Attributes Required:
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not essential.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow processes and maintain accuracy.
- Communication: Strong communication skills and team collaboration.
- Reliability: Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using inventory systems and technology.
- Physical Fitness: Capable of lifting/moving inventory as required.
- Flexibility: Willing to work flexible hours, mainly during afternoon shifts (4:00 PM – 8:00 PM).
