Key Responsibilities

As a Room Attendant, your responsibilities will include:

• Room Cleaning:
  • Clean and replenish guest rooms according to Hilton standards, ensuring that all assigned areas are cleaned to the highest level of cleanliness and in accordance with company policies.
• Guest Interaction:
  • Offer assistance to guests as needed, responding promptly to their requests while respecting their privacy during service.
• Room Setup & Turn-Down Service:
  • Perform turndown service when required and ensure all guestroom supplies are replenished.
• Trolley & Equipment Maintenance:
  • Maintain housekeeping trolleys with adequate supplies, ensuring neatness and proper organization. Keep all housekeeping equipment in good working condition and promptly report any issues to the maintenance team.
• Linen Room & Supplies:
  • Keep the linen room tidy and report any loss, damage, or maintenance issues to the Floor Supervisor.
• Communication & Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations, maintain professionalism, and deliver high-quality service.
• Problem Solving:
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive resolution.
• Hilton Products & Services:
  • Promote Hilton products and services to guests, offering them a deeper understanding of what the hotel provides.
• Adherence to Policies:
  • Comply with the hotel’s policies and procedures, including the Hilton Code of Business Conduct and Lost and Found procedures.

Skills & Qualifications

To succeed as a Room Attendant at Hilton, the following skills and attributes are required:

1. Education & Experience:
   • High school graduate and ideally have attended skills training related to housekeeping.
   • Minimum of 1 year of experience in housekeeping, preferably within an international hotel chain.
2. Communication Skills:
   • Proficiency in English to meet business needs and communicate effectively with guests and team members.
3. Knowledge & Expertise:
   • Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations on guest floors, including the proper use of chemicals and room cleaning techniques.
4. Flexibility:
   • Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
5. Professionalism & Teamwork:
   • A courteous, professional demeanor is essential to ensure high-quality service and maintain positive working relationships with other departments.
