About the Role

As an Orchard Hand, you will play an integral role in maintaining and managing our extensive orchards. This is a full-time position offering stability, competitive pay, and career growth in an industry-leading company.

Key Responsibilities for Orchard Hand at Stahmann Webster

  • Conduct scheduled irrigation and repair irrigation equipment as needed.
  • Operate machinery you are trained and/or licensed to use, such as spraying, pruning, harvesting, and general plant equipment.
  • Perform essential tree maintenance and ground upkeep duties.
  • Maintain farm records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee maintenance of farm equipment, tools, and machinery.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in irrigation (preferred but not essential).
  • A positive, proactive, and hands-on approach.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts when required.
  • Willingness to learn all aspects of walnut farming.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and responsible work practices.
  • ChemCert qualification or willingness to obtain one.
