Role Descriptions
Health Professional Level 2 (HP2):
This position is tailored for Neurophysiology Scientists with at least 12 months of experience. You will perform a variety of neurophysiology tests across all age groups, including adults, children, and neonates. This role provides excellent learning opportunities, with access to mentorship that can help pave the way to a Level 3 position in the future.
Health Professional Level 3 (HP3):
Senior Neurophysiology Scientists in this role take on leadership responsibilities, managing service delivery and mentoring team members. Advanced skills in leadership, mentorship, and quality improvement are essential. This position requires experience in implementing quality systems and a commitment to continuous improvement within neurophysiology.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct neurophysiology testing across diverse patient populations.
- Support and mentor junior scientists, contributing to the department’s culture of excellence.
- Ensure compliance with clinical and safety standards within Canberra Health Services.
- Engage in quality management and improvement initiatives, enhancing service standards.
