- The initial recruitment involves a one-year contract, extendable based on satisfactory performance and subject to regularization by the Competent Authority.
- The appointment process is overseen by a Selection Committee.
- Eligible applicants must be citizens of Pakistan.

- PM&DC currently gives preference to individuals who are employed.

- The appointing authority deems decisions related to the issuance of test/interview call letters and final appointments as final and non-challengeable.
- Reimbursement for the test/interview is not applicable; no TA/DA will be provided.
