Job Overview

As a Fast Food Restaurant Manager, you will be entrusted with overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food service outlet. Your responsibilities will include managing staff, maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service, optimizing business performance, and ensuring that all operational procedures are carried out effectively.

This is a full-time, permanent position requiring flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.

  • Salary: $54,997.32 per year (Based on 173.33 working hours/month)

Eligibility Requirements

Language Proficiency:

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Education:

  • Minimum: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year and up to 2 years of relevant experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the food service industry

Work Authorization:

  • A temporary resident with a valid Canadian work permit

Work Environment

  • Work Setting: Rural area, onsite operations only (No remote work available)

  • Budgetary Responsibility: Management of budgets ranging from $100,001 to $500,000

  • Supervisory Responsibility: Direct supervision of 20 or more staff members across various roles

Roles and Responsibilities

As the Fast Food Restaurant Manager, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Operational Management

  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.

  • Determine the range and quality of services to be offered to customers.

  • Develop and implement operational procedures to improve service delivery and operational consistency.

Financial Oversight

  • Monitor and balance daily cash flow; prepare balance sheets, cash reports, and related financial forms.

  • Cost food products and services while ensuring alignment with market trends and company profitability goals.

  • Collaborate in budget preparation and implement cost control measures to ensure profitability.

Human Resource Management

  • Lead recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management of staff.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to help employees grow.

  • Motivate and inspire team members to achieve individual and store-wide goals.

Compliance and Health Regulations

  • Ensure that all local and provincial health, safety, and food handling regulations are strictly adhered to.

  • Enforce liquor legislation and licensing regulations where applicable.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant environment for staff and customers.

Inventory & Supply Chain

  • Organize, track, and maintain food inventory levels.

  • Coordinate with suppliers for food and other operational needs.

  • Negotiate supplier agreements and monitor supply performance.

Customer Experience

  • Resolve customer concerns, complaints, and inquiries promptly and professionally.

  • Ensure that customer service standards are consistently met and exceeded.

  • Gather customer feedback and implement improvement strategies.

Marketing & Promotions

  • Participate in local marketing campaigns and promotional activities.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to boost store visibility and sales.

  • Track and analyze marketing campaign outcomes and make recommendations for future improvements.
