Responsibilities for Farm Labourer 2024

As a Farm Labourer, your duties will include handling animals, organizing tasks to accomplish daily work, performing livestock feeding, planting, cultivating, and irrigating crops, harvesting, operating and maintaining farm machinery, milking cows, and cleaning stables and barns. You will also be responsible for general farm duties.

Work Environment

This position requires on-site work in various environments, including beef cattle ranching, dairy, and miscellaneous crop farming. Expect to work outdoors in dusty, hot, and noisy conditions, as well as all weather scenarios. Staff accommodation is available.

Work Conditions

This role demands the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be expected to perform physically demanding tasks that may include repetitive movements and extended periods of standing, bending, and kneeling.
