Key Responsibilities
- Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of electricians and apprentices on commercial electrical projects.
- Project Management: Coordinate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure projects are executed smoothly and efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress, providing regular updates to management and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project documentation.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Foreman/Foreperson or in a similar role within the electrical industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, technical drawings, and safety regulations.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current New Zealand Electrical Registration and practicing licence.
- Valid New Zealand driver’s licence.
