R.J. Agricultural Services Pty. Ltd is seeking up to 2 casual or permanent farmhands for positions starting September 14th, 2024. Contracts range from 6 to 9 months with competitive pay under the Horticulture Award 2020.
Job Description
- Location: Darlington Point, New South Wales, Australia
- Pay Rate: $28.26 per hour
- Contract Length: 6-9 months
- Start Date: September 14th, 2024 (various intervals)
- Work Type: Casual or permanent positions available
Responsibilities
This physically demanding role involves manual labor tasks in all weather conditions (up to 40°C/104°F). Duties include:
- Weeding
- Harvesting
- Picking
- Packing
- Irrigation
- Rogueing
- Other general farm work
Requirements
- Must be physically fit and able to work long hours in extreme weather conditions.
- Availability for the full duration of the contract.
- Willingness to undergo alcohol and drug testing (zero tolerance policy).
- Adherence to a smoke-free workplace policy.
