Childcare Professional in Calgary
About the Opportunity:
We’re searching for a dedicated and experienced childcare professional to join our family in Calgary! You’ll play a vital role in nurturing and caring for our children in a safe and loving home environment.
Responsibilities:
- Be a trusted caregiver, assuming full responsibility for the children in our absence.
- Travel with us on occasional family trips, providing supervision and assistance with the children.
- Ensure the children’s daily needs are met, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and preparing healthy meals.
- Foster the children’s social and emotional development through positive discipline, hygiene instruction, and engaging activities.
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment in our home.
- Prepare and manage children’s schedules, including rest periods, school drop-offs/pick-ups, and appointments.
Qualifications:
- High school graduation certificate.
- 1-2 years of experience caring for children (school-age and/or kindergarten preferred).
- Valid CPR and First Aid certificates.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Client-focused with a passion for child development.
- Flexible, reliable, and a team player.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting up to 20 lbs.
Benefits:
