Job Description
Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
We are seeking an Asphalt Plant Operator to join our team in Dunedin. In this full-time, permanent role, you’ll be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of our asphalt manufacturing plant. Your responsibilities will include:
- Active involvement in manufacturing activities and day-to-day operations.
- Maintaining safety and environmental awareness.
- Plant maintenance tasks.
- Providing ad hoc support to our Invercargill plant, which may involve travel.
Important Skills
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work within a small team.
- Experience in manufacturing, preferably in asphalt production, chemicals, or heavy industry.
- A logical approach to operating a computer-controlled plant.
- An uncompromising focus on safety, health, and the environment.
- A wheels, track, and rollers license is preferred but not essential.
