Role Overview

Lincoln University is seeking a motivated Business Analyst to support critical decision-making processes through thorough analysis of business challenges and opportunities. As part of the Enterprise Solutions team within Information Technology Services (ITS), you will play a key role in aligning business objectives with technology solutions to drive improvements and efficiencies across the university.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and address business challenges to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with university staff and students to develop and implement effective solutions.
  • Drive business improvements and ensure alignment with technology capabilities.
  • Facilitate workshops and present findings to various stakeholders.

Essential Skills and Experience

To thrive in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in a similar business analyst role.
  • Proficiency in business analysis techniques and tools, with a proven track record of application.
  • Exceptional skills in requirements elicitation and problem-solving.
  • Strong workshop facilitation and presentation skills, alongside visual modeling expertise.
  • A solid understanding of IT business operations and project financial management.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and relevant applications, including Office365 and process mapping tools like Visio.
