Position Overview
We are currently seeking proactive and detail-oriented Stock Pickers to join our afternoon shift team. This casual position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager and plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment for our customers. As a Stock Picker, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting and preparing products for dispatch using a wireless headset system, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities for Afternoon Shift Stock Picker
- Efficiently pick items using a wireless headset system to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Operate trolleys correctly and safely to transport goods within the warehouse.
- Utilize both manual and electric pallet jacks appropriately for material handling.
- Gain a thorough understanding of the warehouse layout to quickly locate and retrieve items.
- Accurately read and interpret pick-face and storage location labels to minimize errors.
- Understand and utilize pallet mud maps when required.
- Manually wrap pallets securely to maintain product integrity during transportation.
- Operate a pallet-wrapping machine where necessary (specific to the Epping location).
- Work effectively in a fast-paced team environment while demonstrating independence, initiative, and sound judgment.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy to meet customer order requirements.
- Exhibit a willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changes within the warehouse.
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) regulations.
- Comply with company policies and procedures to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
