Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator to join our finance team at our Albany Head Office. Reporting to a supportive Finance Team Leader, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys a dynamic and detail-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Accounts Payable email folder and distribute invoices for approval.
  • Enter approved invoices into the in-house job costing system.
  • Collaborate with branches to ensure the integrity of purchase order systems and workflows.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve disputed or missing invoices.
  • Maintain and update supplier databases, including setting up new accounts in the financial system.
  • Process local and international supplier payments via direct credit.
  • Perform general and additional administrative duties and ad hoc projects as needed.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate Excel skills, along with good proficiency in Word and Outlook; Oracle experience is advantageous.
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data entry, reconciliation, and analysis.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with a flexible approach to tasks.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proactive Attitude: Motivated to achieve goals and continually improve.
