This job collaborates with other team members to receive raw materials, finished goods, and staging materials for production.

This position manages incoming raw materials, moves items from outside warehouses to our manufacturing units, and sends finished goods to customers as needed.

The Material Handler is in charge of verifying the accuracy of all paperwork, implementing continuous improvement in the warehouse, and adhering to all customer service, safety, GMP, and quality system standards. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate well and work well with computers.

What you’ll do for us

• Using authorized receiving processes, receive and document inbound supplies and finished products for production and/or inventory correctness.
• To ensure accurate customer billing, double-check the information on shipping documents/packing slips and in the KO information system.
• To support the plant’s operations plans and customer demand, maintain product, packaging, and material inventory/availability utilizing demand projections, historical orders, and digital tools.
• Furthermore, Forklifts are used to move raw materials and finished products around a warehouse or production plant, including operating turret wire-guided lifts at high heights in a cooler or freezer environment.
• Investigate and determine the root reasons for any facility safety or security issue or non-compliance with environmental regulations in order to prevent a recurrence at the same or other facilities.
• Moreover, Before shipping to the customer, perform a final quality check/inspection for accuracy and evident damage.
• Using available tools or technology, maintain warehouse inventory levels in order to prepare for anticipated demand (e.g., forklifts, ERP systems, cycle counting, orders, forecasts). In order to meet customer/client demand, use a WMS to sort and set up daily order production.
