Cavendish Farms is recruiting for Greenhouse Labourers to work at our Research Centre/Greenhouse in New Annan, PE for 3 to 4 weeks.
Seasonal work will begin in the third week of February 2022, weather permitting.

Requirements

• Ability to operate in a greenhouse environment
• Equivalent to a high school diploma
• Capability to lift up to 30 pounds (13.5kgs)
• Availability to work overtime, nights, and weekends as needed
• The ability to work individually as well as in a dynamic team environment
• High attention to detail and job execution discipline
• Work experience on a farm, greenhouse, or in a manufacturing environment;
• Ability to communicate effectively must be demonstrated.

Duties

• Plant management in the greenhouse includes seed sowing, transferring plantlets, watering, and harvesting pots.
• Filling peatmoss pots and cleaning pots and trays
• Greenhouses and seats must be washed and disinfected.
• All other responsibilities as assigned
