What we are searching for
Polaris Children’s Services is searching for a Therapist to deliver therapeutic treatments to children and adolescents.
In line with your training and accreditation, and within the specific project or service goals, the successful applicant will give advice and training to encourage their return to school and/or support their involvement in education.

Responsibilities in the role:
Work within internal and national clinical governance systems to ensure that all families get a safe, high-quality, consistent service.
Participate in staff, LAC, CP, and CIN meetings as part of a multidisciplinary team. Meetings and disruption meetings to plan and arrange a complete assistance package that would meet the requirements of the family and young person holistically, as well as to create reports
Give young people therapeutic help so they can return to school.
Criteria Essentials:
Be registered and accredited with a recognised accrediting therapy authority and have a recognised relevant therapy certification or certificate in relevant therapeutic training
Collaboration among experts in health, education, and social services that is effective
to have conducted evaluations
Experience with report writing A working grasp of attachment theory A basic understanding of child protection procedures
Understanding of therapy procedures (for example, BSFT and CBT) used to promote positive behaviour change
Salary
