Responsibilities on the Job

excavation, digging, trenching, and backfilling
Maintaining a clean and well-organized building
Creating forms and removing forms
Concrete and castables mixing and pouring
Minor maintenance and repairs must be performed or assisted with.
Assist with cleaning up before and after maintenance operations.
All CEMEX and O.S.H.A. laws and regulations must be followed at all times, and adequate safety equipment must be worn when on plant premises.
Comply with or exceed the company’s safety requirements.
Other work tasks may be assigned by management.

Qualifications

The ability to read, write, and speak English is required. A high school diploma is preferable.
Bilingualism is a bonus.

Bilingual knowledge, skills, and abilities are preferred.

Working Environment

Constant exposure to excessive heat, cold, and noise, as well as working outside
While at the area, you must wear protective equipment.

Physical Prerequisites

Significant amounts of walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, tugging, and climbing are required.
Exerting up to 100 pounds of force on occasion, up to 50 pounds of force on a regular basis, and/or up to 20 pounds of force consistently to move items is considered heavy work.
The individual is frequently required to talk and hear while executing the activities of this profession in order to interact with employees/visitors and operate properly near large rolling equipment.
Must be capable of performing all work tasks, which may include, but are not limited to, pushing, rotating, and/or pulling controls.
Must pass a DOT physical, which includes a back x-ray, hearing test, and a drug/alcohol test.
