1. Packager

Belanger, Inc. is a subsidiary of OPW VWS, a market leader in vehicle wash manufacturing. At our Novi location, we have opportunities on our Packaging teams. This is not a picking/packing job in a huge warehouse. This role is part of a small team that packages full car wash systems and components manufactured by us for shipment to new locations. You will work in an atmosphere that seems like a tiny firm, yet is supported by a huge Fortune 500 organisation.

This is a first shift position that works M-F with daily OT and on Saturdays as needed to satisfy client demands.

Excellent safety-focused workplace culture that gives payment for some essential PPE like as safety shoes and prescription glasses!

Important Duties and Responsibilities of packager

Pull, package/wrap, and palletize client orders in accordance with Bills of Materials.
Make use of a variety of measuring and hand instruments.
Assemble the wooden pallets
Use an industrial saw to cut wood for pallets.
Adhere to all business rules and policies.
Other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

A high school diploma or its equivalent is necessary.
Experience in the manufacturing or warehousing industries is desired.
Reading and comprehension of instructions, manuals, and memoranda
Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds Capable of working overtime if needed

Characteristics desired:

Experience using a forklift and working with tools and measuring equipment
