Summary of Duties

You will offer general labour support in a covered and uncovered industrial setting as an Oldcastle Production Laborer.

Important Duties and Responsibilities

Stack product as it comes off the assembly line.
Clean the apparatus, keep the surrounding area clean, and keep the area clear of trash.
When operating machinery, use safety equipment at all times and adhere to all safety rules.
Work closely with the lead operator to prepare for shift production and become familiar with the machinery you will be using. Transport garbage and debris away from production areas.
All additional responsibilities delegated

Qualifications / Education / Experience

• Must be able to follow workplace safety protocols, such as locking down machinery, tagging out, and using personal protective equipment.
• A high school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, is required.
• Capable of performing job activities in occasionally dusty, hot, and/or cold working circumstances

Physical Prerequisites

• The person is frequently needed to talk or hear while executing the activities of this job.
• The employee will have to sit for long periods of time.
• The employee may be required to stand on their feet regularly.
• The individual must be able to lift and/or move up to 65 pounds from the ground. The necessity to lift more than 65 pounds may arise from time to time; in this situation, personnel should engage in team lifting and/or use the given equipment to lift safely.
• Employees must be able to do physical activities that demand significant use of their arms, legs, and entire body – bending, squatting, climbing – utilising stairs and ladders, pushing, pulling, stooping, and reaching.
