Your typical day
- Assist in ensuring the smooth operation of the shift by providing customer-focused service. Promotes the ideal work culture centred on the InterContinental Hotels Groupfive ®’s core principles of Trust, Integrity, Respect, One Team, and Service, as well as the brand ethos.
- Customer assistance is provided in line with normal operating procedures.
- clears and arranges tables
- Follows service behaviour to anticipate visitors’ requirements.
- Make every effort to settle any issues during the shift and notes all complaints in a log book for future reference.
- carries out cash handling and banking processes
- Establish and train employees on cash security practises.
- Assists in the upkeep of service equipment
- Keep an eye on the quality of visitor amenities and services.
- Control inventory and keep an eye on security processes.
