How to Apply for TESDA Language Training
Eligibility Criteria
To enroll in a TESDA language training program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a Filipino citizen (Male or Female)
- At least 18 years old
- Must be a high school graduate
- Enrollment is strictly on a first-come, first-served basis
Documentary Requirements
Applicants need to submit original and photocopies of any of the following documents:
- College or High School Diploma
- Transcript of Records
- Training Certificate (from a TESDA-registered program)
- National Certificate (NC) or Certificate of Competency (COC) issued by TESDA
- NSO Birth Certificate or Marriage Certificate
- Photos: Three (3) 1″x1″ ID photos and one (1) 2″x2″ ID photo with a white background
- Career Profiling (scheduled during enrollment)

TESDA offers morning and afternoon classes from Monday to Friday.

Special Programs: Japanese Training Under JPEPA
TESDA collaborates with POEA (Philippine Overseas Employment Administration) to provide a 6-month “Preparatory Japanese Language and Culture for Nurses and Careworkers” program under the Japan-Philippine Economic Partnership Agreement (JPEPA).
- TESDA only provides classroom and dormitory facilities.
- Applications are processed at POEA.
- Interested individuals should contact POEA via telephone 722-1144 or 722-1156.
