Responsibilities and Tasks for Landscape Labourer Job Opportunity
As a Landscape Labourer at Ernie’s Landscaping, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with various landscape construction projects
- Weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants
- Cutting grass and maintaining lawns
- Raking leaves and collecting refuse to maintain a clean environment
- Transporting and spreading topsoil, mulch, and other landscaping materials
- Laying sod and planting grass seed to establish new lawns
- Watering and tending to plants, flower beds, and gardens
- Operating and maintaining landscape maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Assisting with tree removal and disposal
Additional Information
Security and Safety Requirements:
- Bondable
- Criminal record check
- Drug test may be required
Transportation & Travel Information:
- A valid driver’s license is required
- Personal transportation may be necessary for commuting to work locations
Work Conditions and Physical Demands:
- Fast-paced outdoor environment
- Repetitive tasks requiring physical endurance
- Handling heavy loads such as bags of soil, mulch, or stones
- Physically demanding tasks such as digging, lifting, and planting
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail required
- Ability to work in various positions, including bending, crouching, and kneeling for extended periods
- Significant walking required

- Steel-toed safety boots
- Work gloves
