Key Responsibilities for Warehouse Assistant Opportunity 

The Warehouse Assistant position at HRB Jacobi Ltd requires an individual who can handle a variety of responsibilities with efficiency and attention to detail. The following are the primary duties of this role:

Unloading and loading trucks, ensuring that all goods are handled with care and efficiency to prevent damage. This task requires attention to detail and a systematic approach to keep track of all incoming and outgoing shipments.

Conducting thorough inspections of inwards goods upon arrival. You will verify quantities against delivery documents and inspect the quality of the goods to ensure they meet our high standards. Any discrepancies or damaged items must be promptly reported and documented.

Additional Responsibilities

Picking, packing, and dispatching goods to customers is a core function of this role. Accuracy is paramount, as errors in picking and packing can lead to delays or dissatisfaction. You will have to prepare orders for shipment.

Re-locating products within the warehouse as needed. This may involve transferring stock to different locations within the facility to optimize storage space and ensure easy access to high-demand items.

As stock levels fluctuate, you’ll ensure that shelves and storage areas are restocked promptly to maintain efficiency and prevent interruptions to the workflow.

Assisting with cyclical stock takes on a regular basis. Inventory accuracy is crucial in any warehouse operation, and you will play a role in conducting periodic stock checks to reconcile physical inventory with system records.

Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the warehouse is another important responsibility. You will ensure that the work environment is clean and free of hazards, contributing to a safer and more efficient workspace.
