Nursery Hand – General Duties 

We are seeking dependable, proactive Nursery Hands to join our Dispatch and Production teams. Prior experience in nurseries is beneficial but not required, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities for Nursery Hand – General Duties 

Dispatch & Production Roles Include:

  • Selecting and picking plants for customer orders
  • Preparing plants for dispatch
  • Labeling, pruning, staking, fertilizing, and weeding plants
  • General plant production and nursery maintenance tasks
  • Operating tractors and other nursery machinery

What We’re Looking For for Nursery Hand – General Duties 

  • Physically fit and capable of handling a physically demanding role
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions as part of a team
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude
  • Attention to detail in plant care and presentation
  • Experience with plant maintenance or nursery machinery is a plus
  • Own vehicle and a valid driver’s license are essential
