Job Overview
We are currently seeking a Legal Assistant (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team in Munich. The ideal candidate will support the legal department in managing client accounts, with a focus on international clients, and provide a wide range of administrative support in legal and corporate processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily support to the legal department in handling client matters, with a primary focus on international cases.
- Manage general secretarial and administrative tasks, including monitoring deadlines, preparing files, and ensuring timely document management.
- Communicate independently and directly with clients, law firms, notaries, tax consultants, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Assist in corporate legal processes, such as company formations, liquidations, director appointments, and amendments to articles of association.
- Submit and file financial statements and annual reports, as well as other company publications to the Electronic Federal Gazette and Corporate Register.
- Handle business registration applications, de-registration, and updates to the Transparency Register.
- Manage the preparation of electronic and manual payments.
- Assist with bank account openings, transfers, and closures.
- Draft correspondence and documents based on specified keywords, as well as independently manage general communication.
Candidate Profile
- Completed professional training in law or tax services, such as a legal or tax assistant, or office administration.
- Ideally, you have initial professional experience in a legal department, law firm, or tax and auditing firm, especially in a secretarial or administrative support role.
- Strong service-oriented attitude, organizational skills, teamwork, and ability to manage pressure.
- Basic understanding of corporate law and financial processes, with a preference for knowledge in corporate governance.
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
- Excellent skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
