Role Overview
We’re seeking a diligent and reliable Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic school environment. This includes cleaning of carpets, hard floors, furniture, windows, and restrooms, as well as external areas such as verandas and drinking troughs. During school holidays, additional tasks like floor stripping, sealing, and pressure cleaning of undercover areas will be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Internal Cleaning: Maintain carpets, floors, windows, furniture, and restrooms.
- External Cleaning: Clean verandas, drinking areas, remove cobwebs, and conduct rubbish removal.
- Holiday Maintenance: Strip and seal vinyl floors, shampoo carpets, and pressure-clean outdoor areas.
Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone organized, dependable, and team-oriented. You should have:
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Knowledge of Cleaning Procedures: Experience using polishers, vacuum cleaners, and other cleaning equipment.
- Teamwork Skills: Effective communication and the ability to follow instructions.
