Join a leading manufacturer and supplier of customized glass products, including insulated glass units, laminated glass, fire-resistant glass, and toughened safety glass. Our client, based in Knoxfield, is seeking reliable, proactive, and dedicated Production Workers to enhance their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities for Production worker 

As a Production Worker / Factory Hand, your role will encompass the following:

• Adhere to company Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) standards, including manual handling training to lift, carry, and load glass safely.
• Process glass products efficiently and meet production deadlines.
• Safely load and unload fragile products, ensuring special care during handling.
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment and maintain open communication with management.
• Keep the working area clean and safe at all times.
• Report any accidents or injuries to supervisors immediately.
• A medical examination will be required for ongoing positions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

To thrive in this physically demanding role, candidates should possess the following:

• Experience working in a repetitive, fast-paced environment.
• A strong work history with a good tenure.
• Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting tasks.
• Recent work references to verify your experience.
• Basic computer skills for production tracking.
• Understanding of correct manual handling practices.
• Must provide your own safety shoes and a yellow hi-vis vest.
• Previous glass production experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and good verbal and written communication skills.

Work Hours and Pay Rates:

• Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM, $35.51 per hour
• Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM, $42.52 per hour
• Night Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM, $45.46 per hour
