Job Description: Front Office Manager – Lead with Excellence

As the Front Office Manager, you’ll oversee the entire front desk operations, setting the tone for guest interactions and service quality. This role requires a proactive, service-focused leader to maintain high standards and foster seamless communication between the front office and other hotel departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Front Office Operations: Supervise front office activities to ensure smooth, efficient, and customer-oriented operations.
  • Guest Experience Enhancement: Recognize VIP and regular guests, monitor satisfaction trends, and continually seek to elevate the guest experience.
  • Maximize Revenue: Use up-selling techniques and drive promotions for Hilton’s loyalty program, increasing room occupancy and brand loyalty.
  • Team Development: Recruit, train, and develop team members with an emphasis on customer service skills, local area knowledge, and sales training.
  • Departmental Oversight: Set objectives, establish budgets, and ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of grooming and performance.
  • Communication: Conduct monthly meetings, maintain interdepartmental communication, and produce meeting minutes.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and fire regulations while managing property systems and front-of-house equipment.

Requirements:

The successful candidate for this Front Office Manager role will bring the following qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in front office operations within the hotel, retail, or leisure sector.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience managing people, including team training and performance management.
  • Commercial Awareness & Sales: Strong sales skills and commercial insight, with the ability to drive loyalty programs.
  • Technical Skills: High level of proficiency in IT and Property Management Systems.
