Key Responsibilities
As a truck driver with HGC, you’ll work on-site with responsibilities that include:
- Customer Service: Deliver goods professionally as part of a team or convoy.
- Driving and Operating: Transport goods using refrigerated and articulated trucks.
- Vehicle Inspection: Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
- Documentation: Maintain logs, track fuel consumption, and handle bill of lading documentation.
- Navigation and Safety: Use GPS and ensure the security of cargo.
Requirements
- Language: English
- Education: No formal degree required
- Experience: An asset, but not required.
Certifications
- Licenses: AZ Class License, Air Brake Endorsement
Type of Equipment
- Refrigerated trucks, tractor-trailers
- Communication Systems: CB radio, GPS, on-board trip recorder
Additional Requirements
- Security: Valid passport, basic security clearance, criminal record check
- Travel: Must be willing to travel cross-border, overnight, and for extended periods.
