Position Overview for Production Worker 2024
As a Production Worker in our Winnipeg facility, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality corrugated products are manufactured efficiently and safely. You’ll collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain quality standards in a clean and organized work environment.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Operating machinery to produce corrugated packaging
- Performing quality checks according to company standards
- Maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to safety protocols
- Managing physical tasks such as lifting, stacking, and moving cardboard through production
Shift Requirements: Rotating weekly shifts:
- Midnights: 11:00 pm – 7:00 am
- Afternoons: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm
- Days: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
Successful candidates must pass a background check, pre-employment medical exam, and a drug test. Smurfit WestRock covers all related fees.
