Blossom Nails & Massage is seeking an experienced Nail Salon Manager in Calgary, AB. Key Responsibilities
- Policy Implementation: Establish and implement policies and procedures for salon staff to ensure operational efficiency.
- Budget Management: Plan and control the budget and inventory for salon operations, with budgetary responsibilities up to $100,000.
- Marketing Management: Manage contracts for advertising and develop effective marketing strategies to promote salon services.
- Staff Supervision: Hire, train, and supervise a team of 16-20 staff members, addressing customer complaints and ensuring high service standards.
- Service Provision: Perform and oversee nail services, including manicures and pedicures.
- Bookkeeping: Conduct basic bookkeeping tasks to maintain accurate financial records.
- Operations Oversight: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily salon operations for optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Education: Completion of an other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 3 to less than 5 years in a similar role, preferably in the beauty industry.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English; knowledge of Vietnamese is an asset.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, Search Engine Marketing (SEM), and Social Media management.
