Qualifications
- Language Requirement: English
- Education: Diploma or certificate (1-2 years) from a college, CEGEP, or other non-university institution
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in sales and distribution management
This is an on-site position based in Winnipeg, MB, with full-time working hours during the day.
Responsibilities
Core Duties
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a sales team, develop team relationships with business clients, and manage contract negotiations
- Staff Training: Organize training sessions and conduct performance reviews to drive team development and improve sales outcomes
- Budget Management: Plan and control budgets, ensuring efficient expenditure
- Marketing Coordination: Collaborate with the marketing team to communicate key messages to sales representatives in the field
- Policy and Procedure Development: Set organizational policies for sales, maintaining compliance and aligning with business objectives
Additional Tasks
- Sales Operations: Oversee and evaluate regional and divisional sales operations across commercial, industrial, and wholesale sectors
- Inventory Control: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure smooth operational flow
- Customer Service: Handle client inquiries and offer exceptional service to build lasting business relationships
Supervision
Manage and supervise 1 to 2 employees, with minimal direct oversight required.
Specialization and Technical Requirements
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, spreadsheet software
- Area of Expertise: Marketing, E-commerce, Sales Management, Market Research
