Qualifications
- Language Requirement: English
- Education: No formal degree or certification required
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in logistics or shipping operations
This is an on-site position based in Calgary, AB, with full-time working hours during the day.
Responsibilities
Core Duties
- Operational Oversight: Manage the operational logistics of the organization to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Planning and Coordination: Plan and organize logistics, coordinating activities with other departments to optimize workflow
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports related to shipping and logistics operations
Additional Tasks
- Equipment Management: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery involved in shipping processes
- Staff Training: Train workers in their roles and the company’s policies to maintain compliance and enhance performance
- Work Assignment: Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure all tasks are completed effectively
- Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies while organizing and maintaining inventory levels
