Qualifications

  • Language: English
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: Previous experience is an asset

This hybrid role will involve both on-site and remote work as required by Buzz Marketing Group’s office in Concord, ON.


Key Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Policy Administration: Develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and ensure compliance with relevant laws
  • Employee Relations: Administer staff consultations, grievance procedures, and provide customer service for HR-related inquiries
  • Recruitment: Recruit, hire, and conduct onboarding for new employees
  • Performance Management: Oversee employee performance appraisals and coordinate appraisal programs
  • Health and Safety: Evaluate work environments and recommend changes to promote safety and health practices
  • Compensation and Benefits: Research employee benefits, recommend program changes, and administer HR programs
  • Job Descriptions: Prepare and update occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales

Specialization and Technology

Experience with the following tools and areas is preferred:

  • Human Resources Software
  • MS Excel and MS Word
  • Specialization in Human Resources
