Overview
Languages Required: English
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in caregiving or related roles
This is an on-site position requiring all caregiving tasks to be performed at the employer’s residence. Room and board are provided, ensuring a supportive, live-in environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications as required
- Assist clients with bathing, hygiene, and personal care
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare, cook, and serve nutritious meals
- Help clients with daily exercise routines, including walking and water activities
- Change non-sterile dressings and provide general medical care as directed
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties
- Assist with feeding and meal preparation
Experience and Specialization
Target Audience:
- Persons with disabilities (including intellectual and mental health disabilities)
- Infants (3–11 months), toddlers, kindergarten-age children, school-age children
- Expecting mothers and newborns
- Both male and female clients
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (bending, crouching, kneeling)
- Patience, reliability, and strong organizational skills
- Client-focused, dependable, and efficient interpersonal skills
- Initiative, sound judgment, and honesty
