Qualifications & Experience:

To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Accreditation: A current valid ACCUP and Chemcert qualification is essential. If applicants do not possess these qualifications, they must complete a two-day short course within the first three months of employment.
• Drivers License: A valid Victorian driver’s license is mandatory.
• Forklift License: A current forklift license is essential, or candidates must undertake training within their first three months.

Key Responsibilities:

The Tractor Driver will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

• Tractor Operation: Operate tractors and other machinery for applying plant health products and fertilizers to crops.
• Cultivation Work: Engage in cultivation activities to promote healthy growth.
• Weed and Pest Management: Utilize spray booms and handguns for effective weed and pest control.
• Slashing and Mulching: Perform slashing and mulching of crops as necessary.
• Irrigation and Fertigation: Manage irrigation systems and fertigation processes to ensure optimal crop health.
• General Farm Duties: Complete other general tasks related to farm management as required.
