Aspire is offering an exciting opportunity for a qualified Psychologist with 482/494 VISA Sponsorship available. About the Role

This role focuses on providing psychological assessments, interventions, and therapy for children aged 0-8 years and their families. You’ll use a family-centered, strengths-based approach to provide resources and guidance, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Childhood Educators.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for cognitive, developmental, and behavioral issues, including Autism Spectrum Disorders.
• Provide evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and play therapy.
• Design and implement support programs tailored to individual and family needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, integrated support for children and families.
• Facilitate referrals to external services where necessary.
• Provide counseling for families and support evaluation of therapeutic interventions.

Skills and Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Psychology with AHPRA registration.
• Endorsed practice in Educational and Developmental Psychology or Clinical Psychology.
• Demonstrated experience with standardized assessments and goal setting for children with disabilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients, families, and colleagues.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check, NSW Working with Children’s Check, and VIC Working with Children’s Check required.
• Driver’s License and willingness to travel.
