The Opportunity
Join our Audit team to provide invaluable insights into our clients’ financial health. This role allows you to dive deep into business issues, offering tailored, proactive advice while fostering strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior team members and managers with audit assignments, including statutory audits, internal audits, and special reports.
- Participate in the planning, execution, and finalization of audit areas, ensuring thorough reviews.
- Produce clear and comprehensive reports for management, highlighting issues and suggesting solutions.
- Manage client deliverables and attend client meetings to ensure effective communication.
- Conduct strategic analyses, identifying business and audit risks, and assess the effectiveness of client processes and controls.
- Coach and support junior team members in their professional development.
- Apply KPMG Audit Manual/Methodology and adhere to auditing standards and GAAP.
What You’ll Bring
- A minimum of one year of relevant practical audit experience in an Audit Firm.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics that meets CAANZ requirements.
- Provisional membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., CAANZ, CPA) is advantageous.
- Experience with KPMG auditing software, specifically KPMG Clara, is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- A professional approach with a strong focus on client needs.
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
