Vermeer Orchards Inc. is excited to announce openings for Labourers in our fruit farming operations located in Aylmer, Ontario. This role is perfect for individuals looking to immerse themselves in the agricultural sector and gain hands-on experience in fruit cultivation.

Key Responsibilities
As a Labourer in Fruit Farming, you will engage in several critical tasks essential for maintaining our orchards. Responsibilities include grading fruits and vegetables based on size, shape, color, and volume to maximize market value, as well as picking row and orchard crops, planting, cultivating, and irrigating crops. Additionally, you will train trees to enhance fruit quality and engage in weeding and cutting horticultural crops. Experience with apples and fruit harvesters is preferred but not mandatory.
Work Environment
This position requires on-site work in a rural setting with a combination of fruit and vegetable farming. Applicants should be prepared for a fast-paced work environment with physical demands, including repetitive tasks and weight handling (up to 30 lbs).
