Key Responsibilities
As a Fruit Harvesting Labourer, your daily tasks will include:
- Hand Harvesting: Collecting various crops including apples, cherries, strawberries, cucumbers, and more.
- Sorting and Grading: Dividing harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots, grading fruits and vegetables based on quality.
- Planting and Cultivating: Assisting in planting, cultivating, and irrigating crops to ensure optimal growth.
- Packing: Preparing harvested fruits and vegetables for sale.
Work Environment
This role requires on-site work in a rural setting focused on fruit and vegetable combination farming. Successful candidates will need to work in a physically demanding environment, involving:
- Standing for long periods
- Repetitive tasks
- Bending, crouching, and kneeling
