The Role: Marketing Specialist

Sky is looking for a Marketing Specialist who will take the lead on campaigns, boost engagement, and keep customers connected to what they love most.

This role will allow you to use your marketing expertise to execute campaigns across multiple channels, drive sales, and analyze performance to continuously improve outcomes. If you’re excited about shaping the future of entertainment marketing, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute and align marketing campaigns with Sky’s overall strategy.
  • Develop and deliver marketing plans across Owned, Earned, and Paid media channels.
  • Collaborate with creative, media, and marketing partners to bring campaigns to life.
  • Analyze key performance metrics (reach, consideration, conversion) to optimize strategies.
  • Manage stakeholder approvals and ensure precise delivery of campaign assets.
  • Report on campaign performance and share learnings to drive future success.
  • Support key events, sponsorships, and partnership marketing initiatives.

What You’ll Bring:

Essential Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar marketing role with hands-on experience in TTL marketing campaigns.
  • A data-driven mindset with a passion for turning insights into effective marketing strategies.
  • A solid understanding of performance marketing and digital marketing techniques.
  • Strong commercial acumen and adaptability across various teams and brands.
  • Familiarity with data privacy and governance principles.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Legal right to work in New Zealand as per Immigration NZ requirements.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in copywriting and agile working practices (highly desirable).
  • A passion for TV, sport, and media content.
