Role Summary:
Lead and maintain welding programs, providing engineering support to ensure compliance with welding standards. Oversee the welding test lab and quality control.
Key Responsibilities for Welder Engineer Jobs United States
- Provide technical support to field engineers and manage the welding program.
- Ensure compliance with construction codes and quality standards.
- Maintain the welding test shop and manage welder qualifications.
- Troubleshoot engineering issues and coach junior engineers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of experience or equivalent experience without a degree.
- Familiarity with GMAW (STT) welding processes and applicable codes.
- Knowledge of welding procedures and quality control practices.
