Cocoon SDA Care is a fast-growing, innovative, and dynamic organization committed to providing high-quality support services to individuals with disabilities. We are looking for experienced and passionate Residential Support Workers to join our team in Brisbane, QLD.
About the Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting participants with complex care, personal care, and high physical needs in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) or Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) setting. You will work closely with participants to help them achieve their personal goals and live independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general household assistance, emotional support, care, and companionship for aged or disabled people.
- Assist clients with their mobility, meal preparation, and social activities.
- Perform housekeeping tasks, such as vacuuming and cleaning.
- May also do shopping and run errands.
- Provide personal care and administer medication, if required.
- Adhere to service/facility communication, reporting, and participant/program progress practices and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months of experience in the disability support sector or a related field.
- Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling, and Medication Administration training or willingness to obtain.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance.
- Current Driver’s License (mandatory).
