Job Summary:

As a General Laborer in Yokosuka, Japan, you will be responsible for the loading, stowing, and transportation of subsistence items and supplies onboard ships. This is a part-time position with a pay range of $14.80-$14.90 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Loading and Stowing: Transport subsistence and supplies from staging areas to designated ship locations, utilizing various methods (daisy chain, dolly, cart, conveyor).
• Stock Rotation and Relocation: Assist with limited stock rotation and relocation within ship storerooms for optimal storage.
• Cleanup: Maintain clean work areas by removing debris from transporting stores and stacking empty pallets.
• Verification: Ensure receipt documents match provisions received and quantities, working with the Jack-Of-The-Dust or Customer Representative.
• Adherence to Procedures: Follow technical directions for stowing, security procedures as per U.S. Navy and local port operations, and ensure no damage occurs during loading and stowing.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Physical Ability: Must be able to lift items up to 60 lbs.
• Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contract obligations.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
