About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Livestock Worker to join our dedicated team at Grassdale Feedlot. Your primary focus will be managing our hospital facility, ensuring the health and well-being of our cattle. Your responsibilities will include:

• Animal Health: Assisting with the diagnosis of health issues, administering treatments under supervision, and contributing to the overall well-being of our cattle
• Hygiene & Care: Maintaining excellent hygiene standards and conducting regular health checks
• Facility Maintenance: Walking pens and ensuring a clean environment for our cattle
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records using our specialized feedlot management system (StockAid)
• Teamwork: Collaborating effectively with our team to uphold our commitment to animal health and welfare

About You:

• Experience: Previous feedlot experience is preferred but not essential
• Stockmanship: Demonstrated cattle handling skills and a deep understanding of animal behavior
• Eagerness: A positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• License: Valid driver’s license
