About the Operations Department:
Our Operations team ensures the seamless production and delivery of our vehicles. We manage everything from global supply chain logistics to cutting-edge manufacturing processes, maintaining the highest quality standards every step of the way.
Your Mission:
As a Vehicle Supplier Quality Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of vehicle parts supplied to MFTBC. Your primary focus will be:
- Conducting thorough PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) reviews to ensure parts meet our strict quality standards.
- Analyzing and resolving 0km (initial) failures to prevent issues from reaching customers.
- Collaborating with domestic and overseas suppliers to optimize production processes and identify root causes of quality problems.
- Evaluating and mitigating supply chain risks to ensure uninterrupted vehicle production.
Your Challenge and Development:
This role offers the opportunity to gain deep expertise in:
- Vehicle and parts quality control across a wide range of components (brakes, steering, suspension, electronics, etc.).
- Global supply chain management and risk mitigation strategies.
- Japanese and international quality standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain high parts quality levels through PPAP and ISIR (Initial Sample Inspection Report) processes.
- Audit supplier production processes to identify and address potential issues.
- Troubleshoot production line, field claim, and KD (Knock-Down Kit) quality issues.
- Effectively communicate and negotiate with internal MFTBC teams and external suppliers.
Qualifications:
- Job Experience: Prior experience in vehicle quality, parts quality, or supplier management is essential.
- Practical Knowledge: Understanding of vehicle homologation, road traffic laws, vehicle structure, and part structure is desired.
- Language Skills: Business-level English and native-level Japanese are required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
